Frequently Asked Questions
Order Processing
Q: How do I place an order?
A: The best way is to contact us via email at jferreri@colonialpromos.com with the details of your project. We will make sure to clarify all details and, when you are ready to order, we’ll provide you with an order form to make everything official.
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: You can either submit a credit card at the time you place your order, or you can ask for an invoice (net 30 terms).
Product
Q: What is the minimum quantity for orders?
A: The minimum order for tee shirts is 48 units. For promotional products, the minimum depends on the exact item and usually ranges between 48 units and 144 units.
Q: Can we get a physical sample of the item that we are interested in?
A: Absolutely. We can send you a FREE sample of almost any item, as long as it’s under ~$20. There is no obligation to return the sample.
Q: Do you have a catalog?
A: Yes, we have different catalogs for different product categories. Let us know what you’re interested in, and we’ll send you a corresponding catalog.
Q: What’s the turnaround time?
A: It depends on the exact product, but generally our standard turnaround time is ~2 weeks. However, there are some products we can turn around in as little as 48 hours. See our “Rush Order?” section for more details.
Artwork / Design
Q: What format should our art/logo be in?
A: If possible, artwork should be submitted in vector format as a “.eps” file with all text converted to outlines.
Q: What if we don’t have our art as a vector “.eps” file?
A: Sometimes other file types will work. If not, we can convert your files to vector for you. Depending on the exact project and the complexity of your logo, this can often be done for free or for a very small charge.
Q: Will I receive a proof (mockup) of what the product will look like?
A: Yes. We always provide a virtual proof before we begin production. You will have the option to either approve the proof or advise changes to the proof.
Q: Can I get a proof before I place an order?
A: It depends. Some suppliers allow you to upload your image to get a free virtual mockup. However, this is an “unofficial” proof, and you will still receive an official proof after you place your order. In many cases a factory will not provide a proof at all until after an order is placed.
